O'Guin Decorative Arts has a core group of artisans located in Naples, Florida, plus extensive artisan networks throughout the country.
Christopher O'Guin - Vice President of Sales and Product Development
Christopher worked and attended intensive workshop training at Miller-Wagenaar Studios in Chicago, and studied European glazing, marbling, faux bois, gilding and leafing, and other traditional painter's arts. He also attended Midwest Studios where he was first introduced to water-based mediums that surpassed the traditional European solvent mixtures. In the mid 1990's the O'Guin family founded The South Shore Academy of Decorative Arts in Valparaiso, Indiana. The school acts as a teaching arm of the company's core installation business, training tradesman and do-it-yourselfers to increase and master their skills. Christopher has also been a guest teacher at the Chicago Institute of Decorative Finishing, teaching advanced technique workshops.
Cory O'Guin- Principal Project Leader
Cory O'Guin is a principle member of O'Guin Decorative Arts. Cory began perfecting his decorative techniques in 1995 as he majored in art in school and continued his training at the national and international levels. He has trained and taught at the Chicago Institute of Fine Finishes.
He also has trained in various parts of Chicago and the Midwest, as well as Vero Beach Florida at Faux Effects International. In 2001, Cory participated in advanced educational courses at Castoro in Milan, Italy. Completion of this specialized training allowed him to become the first certified Spatula Stuhhi fine Italian plaster applicator in Southwest Florida. Cory has an entrepreneurial spirit, co-founding the South Shore Academy of Decorative Arts in 1998 and teaching decorative arts to those in and out of the trade. As Project Supervisor and Master Tradesman at O'Guin Decorative Arts, he now leads a team of skilled artisans in the field.

His skill paid off, and he was well received in the industry. Mike comes from a family of artists, so he naturally had the ability to be creative and precise with his trade. This natural talent led him to decide to open a business that focused on painting and wallpapering.
