O'Guin Decorative Arts is a second-generation decorating business with over 65 years of combined experience in the decorative arts.

The O'Guin family began training at the prestigious Miller-Wagenaar Studios in Chicago in 1989. At that time, it was one of only three schools in the United States that taught decorative painting techniques.

The O'Guin family team has now added additional professional training from the Chicago Institute of Decorative Art, American Academy of Art, Melanie Royals Studio of San Diego, Giorgio Graesan of Italy and South Shore Academy of Decorative Arts to their list of qualifications, as well as private instruction by Irving Shipiro, world renowned watercolorist.

Our current knowledge of new materials and techniques is vast and includes networking with the world's best manufacturers to develop and test new products. The O'Guin Decorative Arts team is dedicated to the creative advancement of techniques to further their art.
